Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA in Wesley Chapel, FL, to provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients in home and care facility settings. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a focus on maintaining patient comfort and dignity in end-of-life care.

Ideal candidates will be state-certified CNAs, CPR-certified, with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. You’ll join a supportive team within AccentCare’s mission-driven culture committed to excellence

Qualifications

Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide, with training and a passing score of 85%+ on the agency’s competency exam; state requirements vary.
CPR certification required for direct patient care where applicable.
Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record and eligible to provide care in homes, facilities, or hospitals.
Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care, including personal hygiene, repositioning and mobility support.
Assist patients at home or in care facilities with daily activities while maintaining safety and dignity.
Monitor comfort, respond to needs, and support timely end-of-life care.
Work in home and facility settings, adapting to conditions while upholding infection control.
