Job summary

Oasis Hospice seeks a compassionate Per Diem Home Health Aide to support terminally ill patients at home under RN supervision. You will help with daily tasks, personal care, and emotional support for patients and families.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program, and the ability to work independently while following the care plan and policies of Oasis Hospice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an approved training and competency course required.
• State or federal Home Health Aide training and competency requirements.
• Active patient contact within past three years preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a nursing assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential personal care to hospice patient under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, meals, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor vitals if assigned and document as needed.
• Provide emotional support to patient and family.
• Attend required trainings and maintain certification per state requirements.
