Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family of businesses, seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence, and quality of life through personalized care.

Primary responsibilities include adult assessment and treatment, aural rehabilitation for the deaf or hard of hearing, and AAC.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification with graduate coursework and a CAA-accredited practicum.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of work.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Offer aural rehabilitation and AAC support for deaf or hard of hearing individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
