Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home assessments and treatments, helping adults regain communication and swallowing skills in the comfort of patients' homes. Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum in an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in speech pathology.
• If CCC not obtained, CFY pathway with supervisor and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
