Job summary

Mountlake Terrace Assured Home Health in WA seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction per the plan of care. You will educate patients and families, assist in mobility and ADL activities, and coordinate with supervising PT and care team while working in patients’ homes.

Requirements include an active WA PTA license, access to reliable transportation, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of Washington.
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervising PT plan of care.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercises and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of patient background.
