Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, operating through At Home Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home therapy, helping patients restore physical function and independence. This role supports patients and families, collaborating with supervising OT, nurses, and clinicians to ensure adherence to the plan of care and safety.

Requirements include active OTA licensure in the state of practice and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and implement the plan of care as defined by the supervising OT.
• Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within scope and state regulations.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and caregiving team on therapy within the OTA scope.
• Function in diverse home environments irrespective of patient demographics.
