Job summary

Gail’s Homecare in Lithonia, Georgia is hiring a compassionate personal care assistant (PCA) to support clients at home. You will help with basic personal hygiene and light domestic tasks, follow care plans, and document progress to promote wellbeing.

Requirements include CPR/BLS and First Aid, a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of full-time healthcare experience, strong English communication, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule: Mon-Thu overnight, pay rate $13 per hour.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time healthcare experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Home healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to lift, transfer and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks at home.
• Follow care plans and provide compassionate support.
• Document clients' progress to help ensure overall wellbeing.
• Work with clients in their residences and maintain professionalism.
