Job summary

PurposeCare is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one home health and home care services. You will support daily living, personal care, and mobility in clients' homes, documenting care and coordinating with supervising nurses.

We offer flexible scheduling options (full-time, part-time, PRN) with ongoing training, onboarding, and mentoring programs to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Active HHA/CNA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism with vulnerable populations.
• Ability to travel to client homes and work independently.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and complete onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support medication self-administration through reminders (no independent med administration).
• Monitor and report patient condition and changes to the supervising nurse.
• Take and record basic vital signs when trained and assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment.
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across service area.
• Document care provided according to company and regulatory standards.
