Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking compassionate home health aides to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes across our service area. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, monitor health, and ensure comfort and safety under the supervision of a nurse.

The role emphasizes dependability, empathy, and clear communication to support families and maintain high-quality home-based care. Ideal candidates are licensed or willing to become licensed, with a background in home health or CNA duties.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Willingness to complete competency and skills assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support medication self-administration through reminders.
• Monitor and report patient condition to supervising nurse.
