Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking caring home health aides (HHAs) or CNAs to provide one-on-one in-home care, supporting daily living activities and ensuring safety for clients in their homes and communities. Certification is encouraged or obtainable, with emphasis on compassion, reliability, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have an HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and ROM exercises per care plan
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Support medication self-administration through reminders (no independent med administration)
• Monitor and report patient condition and changes to supervising nurse
• Take and record basic vital signs when trained and assigned
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment
• Assist with linens and light client laundry as appropriate
• Use safety equipment properly (rails, supports, stools, etc.)
• Document care provided according to company and regulatory standards
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across your service area
• Complete required in-service training, including annual dementia education
