Qualifications

• Experience in home health care as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA/HHA).
• Excellent customer service and attention to client needs.
• HHA or PCA Certification required.
• In-person Basic Life Support, First Aid & CPR.
• TB screening/PPD chest X-ray completed.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Empathy, compassion and kindness are a must.
• Ability to use sound judgment and stay calm.
• Reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Basic computer skills and tech savviness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned tasks on clients and follow care plans.
• Help clients maintain personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Provide companionship to the client when needed.
• Recognize needs, maintain relationships, and communicate observations to supervisor.
