Job summary

PACE Central Michigan is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support elderly participants in their homes within a comprehensive PACE program. You will perform daily living activities, assist families, and document care through the EMR, aligning with team protocols and scheduled shifts.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent, CPR certification (within 90 days of hire), and a Michigan driver’s license. CNA preferred; six months of clinical experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Michigan, preferred
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Michigan Driver’s License.
• Six months or more clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in the home with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, transfers, toileting, ambulation).
• Document treatments, observations, nursing care, and participant activities in the EMR.
• Report changes in participant condition to the PACE team.
• Engage with families and support persons to coordinate care.
