Job summary

Senior Care Partners PACE in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Participant Care Assistant (PCA) to support participants at the Day Center and in home settings, as part of the interdisciplinary care team.

Under supervision, the PCA assists with activities of daily living, helps with supplies delivery, respects participants’ autonomy and dignity, and encourages engagement in meaningful activities while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with standard software.
• Minimum of one year experience with frail, elderly or long-term care populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living in the Day Center.
• May help deliver supplies to participants' homes as directed.
• Respect participants' autonomy and dignity at all times.
• Encourage engagement and independence during activities.
