Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, PCA, or caregiver preferred.
- Must be compassionate and patient when working with elderly or disabled clients.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation for safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
