Job summary

A Place At Home Towson is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support seniors in Laurel, MD. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal support, and companionship to help clients live comfortably and safely at home.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Home Care Aide, CNA, HHA, or caregiver preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
