A Place At Home Towson is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support clients in their own homes in Sykesville, MD. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship to improve quality of life.

The role emphasizes reliable, punctual care with adherence to care plans. CPR/First Aid is a plus; background check and drug screening may be required; use of transportation to client homes is necessary. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, caregiver, or in a related healthcare role preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to client well-being
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation to client homes in the Sykesville, MD area
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans accurately
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
