Job summary

A Place At Home Towson is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to work with clients in one-on-one care plans in patient homes. You will provide personalized assistance, build relationships, and maintain a healthy, safe environment suited to each client’s needs.

Strong communication is essential; prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. You will contribute to a supportive team dedicated to high-quality home-based care and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year prior professional experience.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with clients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Remind clients of their medications.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
