Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate home care aides to help seniors stay independent at home. Flexible 10–40 hour weekly schedules with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts available.

Applicants must be at least 18 and possess CA Home Care Aide Registry registration, with required background checks and on-going training. Responsibilities include ADLs, hygiene, mobility support, and transport to appointments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CA Home Care Aide Registry registration.
• Criminal background checks and training compliance.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Support personal hygiene and dressing needs.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
• Complete records and report changes to supervisor.
• Drive to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Accurately record all hours worked and shifts.
