Job summary

Addus Homecare is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides to support seniors and disabled clients at home. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance if driving.
• Nurturing and compassionate nature with the desire to care for others.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• On-call for 24-hour shifts.
• 5 days per week with at least one weekend day.
• Must be physically able to lift 15 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks as per care plans.
• Follow assignments and report completed tasks to the office each morning.
• Provide or assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and laundry.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed.
• Support self-administration of medications and observe changes in condition.
