Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver experience with direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays on a rotation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company vehicles to perform first-call transfer of deceased in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Follows chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification procedures.
• Cooperates with first responders, hospital staff, or care facilities; respects families and protocols.
• Interact with bereaved family members courteously during home transfers; maintain sensitivity.
• Enter deceased event information into proprietary software per procedures.
• Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; assist with moving caskets.
