Qualifications

• At least one year work experience as a courier or driver with direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays on rotation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to work in hazardous, heavy traffic and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transfers and operates company vehicles for first-call transfers of deceased in compliance with laws and policies.
• Follows chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification processes.
• Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff, or care facilities.
• Interacts with families for home transfers with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; assists with moving caskets.
