Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver experience with direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Transports deceased by driving company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Maintains chain-of-custody, paperwork, and identification.
• Cooperates with first responders, coroner, hospital staff, or facilities to follow procedures.
• Interacts professionally with bereaved family members during home transfers.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; assists with moving caskets.
• Washes, vacuums, and maintains vehicle cleanliness; fuels vehicles as needed.
• Follows safety guidelines and expenditure procedures.
• Enters transfer information into proprietary software.
