Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current state/federal driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year work experience as a courier or driver; direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to schedule to support business needs including weekends and nights; on-call rotations.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to drive in hazardous, heavy traffic, and weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company owned vehicles to perform transfers and handles chain-of-custody paperwork.
• Interacts with families respectfully during home transfers and adheres to procedures.
• Enters event information into proprietary software and assists with moving caskets as needed.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assists with loading/unloading.
