Responsibilities

• Transport the decedent from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home.
• Provide compassionate guidance to families and direct them to appropriate resources.
• Safely navigate local roads and highways, using GPS or direction apps.
• Be available for irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and fill in for staff as needed.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner per laws and regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and assist with other duties (e.g., washing vehicles) as required.
