Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Commission-based, performance-driven sales environment experience.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple leads and appointments.
• Proficient in email, Microsoft Office, and common business apps.
• Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed.
• Must obtain/state licenses or registrations within 60 days where required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to deliver a great customer experience.
