Job summary

SCI Shared Resources, LLC is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant in Santa Ana, CA to provide clerical and front-line support for funeral operations. You will greet families, answer questions, set up service spaces and assist with transportation as needed.

The role involves assisting on services, handling documents, and coordinating with management to ensure compassionate, professional care consistent with company policies and values.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services including setup of floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns and keepsakes.
• Answers phones and assists with documents and information.
• Assists with the preparation and handling of remains as directed by management.
• Manages office duties and uses multi-line phone system and basic equipment.
• Supports visitations, services and transportation as needed.
• Greets client families and provides information and assistance.
• May operate funeral home vehicles for services and pickups.
