SCI in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant to provide clerical and frontline support for funeral operations. You will greet families, answer questions, and help coordinate services while upholding our mission and policies.

This on-site role involves setting up ceremony items, assisting with remains preparation, driving duties when needed, and performing office tasks. A strong customer-service background and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services including floral arrangements, chairs, urns, and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services and cremations.
• Assist with remains prep, dressing, lifting, or crematory operation as allowed.
• Answer phones and operate office equipment.
• Run errands for supplies and deliveries.
• Serve as an usher and assist with parking or transport.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available where permitted.
• Support visitations, memorials and services with setup and arranging items.
• Greet families entering the office and assist with information.
