Job summary

SCI is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant in Centennial, CO to provide clerical and administrative support for funeral operations and assist on services as requested by management. You will greet families, answer questions, and help with preparations for services following company policies.

Responsibilities include setting up arrangements, preparing documents, assisting with remains, driving duties when needed, and ensuring refreshments are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service/sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare services by arranging floral displays, chairs, caskets, and keepsakes.
• Prepare service documents for needs and maintenance.
• Assist with preparation of remains incl. dressing and lifting, per law.
• Perform office duties: phones, fax, computer, multi-line system, debit card, etc.
• Run errands for supplies and deliveries.
• Serve as usher, park cars, or handle transportation needs.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family transport.
• Ensure refreshments are available where allowed.
