Service Corporation International is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant to support funeral operations, assist families, and handle office tasks. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, driving duties, and evening/weekend hours to ensure services run smoothly.

Responsibilities include preparing spaces for ceremonies, greeting families, document handling, and assisting with vehicle maintenance. High school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with prior funeral industry experience

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• License: Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience: Funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation and funeral services.
• Greet visitors and provide programs and information.
• Answer phones and manage reception and documents.
• Transport documents, mementos, and flowers to destinations.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles and assist with logistics.
