Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Funeral Attendant to support a range of tasks before, during, and after services. You will prepare rooms, assist with the deceased, greet families, and handle transportation of materials and vehicles.

This role includes driving responsibilities and availability for weekends and holidays. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work with compassion, and communicate effectively with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Funeral industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services.
• Greet visitors and provide information and directions.
• Assist with transporting caskets and vehicles as needed.
• Answer phones and screen callers, escort guests to rooms.
• Drive families to cemetery sites as required.
• Handle post-service cleanup and storage of company property.
