Job summary

Foundation Partners seeks a licensed Funeral Director to manage all aspects of funeral arrangements and final disposition. You will lead teams during services, coordinate with families, and ensure legal paperwork is completed accurately. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

The role requires licensure, mortuary schooling, and strong customer-service skills, with on-call rotation and community engagement as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued funeral director license.
• Completed mortuary school.
• Minimum one year of customer service and funeral industry experience preferred.
• Experience in initial transfer of decedent and funeral arrangement.
• Maintain licenses and CE requirements current.
• On-call/first call rotation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and planning skills; time management.

Responsibilities

• Presents every client family with all service and merchandise options.
• Maintains accurate and timely client files.
• Participates in community events to grow market share.
• Oversees team members during services and represents location professionally.
• Works on-call/first call rotation as assigned.
• Transfers decedents and prepares for funeral services.
• Meets with client families to arrange personalized services.
• Completes paperwork and permits in compliance with laws.
• Conducts funeral services and follows up after service.
• Collects funds at arrangement conferences.
