Role includes leading team members during services, coordinating paperwork, on-call duties, embalming and preparation, and pursuing community engagement to grow market share.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure for funeral directing & embalming.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Caring, empathetic, and committed to providing best-in-class service to customers.
• Sensitivity and knowledge of different philosophical systems and religions.
• Knowledge of basic principles, values, ethics, ways of thinking, customs, practices, and their impact on human culture.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Presents client families with service and merchandise options.
• Maintains open communication and accurate client files.
• Participates in community events to grow market share.
• Leads team during services and ensures professional representation.
• On-call/first call duties as assigned.
• Transfers decedents, embalms, dresses, cosmes, and prepares deceased as needed.
• Meets with client families to arrange personalized services and ensure high-quality experience.
• Completes tasks resulting from arrangement conference.
• Ensures paperwork, permits and certificates are completed timely.
