Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a nursing assistant to provide daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies. You will follow directives from the nursing leadership to maintain high-quality care for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, participating in care planning, and ensuring a warm, safe environment. CPR certification and English proficiency are required, with prior nursing assistant

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited nurse training program as evidenced by a diploma or certificate.
• Be at least 16 years of age and of good moral character.
• Provide evidence of employment or residence for two years prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow nursing procedures and policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Contribute to written care plans and participate in care conferences.
• Report concerns to the Administrator.
• Ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and respected.
• Assist with packing and transfer of residents as needed.
• Participate in nursing rounds and in-service education.
