Job summary
Alden of Waterford Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a capable Nursing Assistant to provide daily resident care in a licensed facility. You will work under supervision to support activities of daily living, monitor health, and communicate with nursing staff to maintain high quality care.
The role requires completion of a nursing assistant program, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR certification or timely acquisition.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited nurse training program as evidenced by a diploma or certificate.
- CPR certification or obtain within two weeks of employment.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Two years of employment/residence history prior to employment as a nursing assistant.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with daily nursing care per standards and policies.
- Assist with activities of daily living and follow care plans.
- Record intake/output and monitor resident health.
- Attend care conferences and participate in In-service programs.
- Maintain a safe, warm, and professional environment for residents.
