The Alden Network in Long Grove, IL seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide residents with daily care in line with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies under the direction of nursing leadership to ensure high-quality care. You will assist with activities of daily living, participate in care planning, document observations, and support a safe, warm environment.

Strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to work well with residents and team members

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing arts course and successful completion of nursing aide competency evaluation.
• Must be at least 16 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification must be current or obtained within two weeks of employment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide compassionate care.
• Follow established nursing procedures and facility policies under supervision.
• Participate in care planning conferences and report changes to the staff nurse.
• Maintain accurate intake/output records and monitor patient condition.
• Keep rooms clean, stocked, and safe for residents.
