Job summary

Alden is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide daily care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The role requires compassionate care, adherence to policies, and strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing arts diploma or certificate, CPR certification (or within two weeks), and reliable English communication. This on-site position offers a stable caregiving environment and opportunities to support residents'

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited nurse training program.
• Be at least 16 years of age and possess good moral character.
• Provide evidence of previous employment/residence for two years.
• Must possess CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with daily nursing care per standards and policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living as directed by staff.
• Report concerns to the Administrator or Nursing leadership.
• Makes rounds to ensure residents are safe and comfortable.
• Maintain warmth and calm environment in the department.
• Assist with care, packing, and discharge as needed.
• Observe resident condition and report changes to the Nurse/RCC.
• Record intake and output and monitor meals as indicated.
