Job summary
Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Patient Care Aide - PCA to support elderly and vulnerable clients in their homes across the Northeast Tennessee area. You’ll assist with ADLs, provide medication help, light housekeeping, meal prep and transportation while delivering compassionate care.
The role requires excellent communication, reliability and the ability to follow plans of care. You will work in a home-care setting with shifts including full-time, part-time, 8/10/12 hour options, and
Qualifications
- Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal assignments.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Homecare Company Management System—ClearCare.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and grooming as per plan of care.
- Provide medication assistance, housekeeping, meal prep, transportation and companionship.
- Report daily activity to supervisor and maintain logs in the agency system.
- Ensure safety and maintain confidentiality; adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
