Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Patient Care Assistant - PCA to care for the elderly, disabled and vulnerable clients in the Northeast Tennessee area.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, medication support, homemaking, transportation and companionship, with shifts including full-time, part-time and various hour-length options. Expect adherence to safety, HIPAA, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Proficiency with ClearCare management system.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as specified in the client’s plan of care.
• Assist with medication assistance, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Perform other household tasks as specified in the client’s plan of care.
• Report daily activity to supervisor through the agency management system and logs.
