Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Patient Care Aide - PCA to provide compassionate in-home care for the elderly and other vulnerable clients in the Northeast Tennessee area. The role includes assisting with ADLs, medication support, transportation, and companionship, with emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

The position offers full-time or part-time shifts, including 8, 10, and 12-hour options, with benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, PPE and daily pay.

Qualifications

• Work requires good communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Homecare Company Management System--ClearCare

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per client care plan.
• Assist with medication assistance, housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping and transportation.
• Provide companionship and report daily activities to supervisor using agency system.
• Ensure safety and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
