Job summary

Hope Network West Michigan is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) on a part-time 2nd shift to help individuals build independence within their community. You’ll provide person-centered support across daily living, health and wellness, and skill development to support meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, coordinating community activities, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment while fostering trust and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with ADLs.
• This role requires ability to pass background checks and fingerprints.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living (ADLs), personal care, and medications.
• Support community outings, transportation, and activities.
• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
