DIVINE HOMES HEALTHCARE SERVICES LLC in West Springfield, VA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized care in a residential home setting. The role focuses on promoting independence, safety, and quality of life for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.

You will assist with ADLs, meal prep, medication reminders, documentation, and follow care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision in a residential home environment.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring per care plans and policies.
• Support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Promote independence and participation in daily activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
• Complete accurate daily documentation and report changes in health or behavior.
• Follow individualized service plans and organizational policies.
