Job summary

Divine Homes Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one, person-centered support to an individual with developmental disabilities in Alexandria, VA. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, promoting independence, and documenting progress. A valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, person-centered support in the individual's home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care as needed.
• Support communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Assist with community outings and activities.
• Follow the individual's ISP and established support strategies.
• Promote independence, safety, and well‑being.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors and family members.
