Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Chester, NJ. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people’s lives. Starting pay ranges from $23/hour to $33/hour based on acuity, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid after meeting milestones.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Experience with IDD not required; paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities
• Assist with meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Document progress and coordinate with teams and families
