Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Linwood, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

We offer paid onboarding and training, flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth in a team‑oriented environment. Starting pay is $23/hour, up to $33/hour for acuity, plus a $1,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist clients with meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
