Job summary

Abound Health in Linwood, NJ is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live more independently.

We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, a $1,000 signing bonus, and opportunities for advancement in a mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Paid training provided by Abound Health.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Offer flexible scheduling including full-time and part-time opportunities.
