Job summary

InnovAge Holding Corp. is seeking drivers to transport frail and elderly participants to day centers and appointments in Orlando, Florida.

You will perform safe driving, assist participants into and out of vehicles and homes, and help with meals, supplies, and medications. You will work with dispatch to coordinate routes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and participate in care planning as part of the PACE program.

Qualifications

• DOT and Defensive Driving experience required.
• At least one year of experience with frail or elderly individuals.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive InnovAge vehicles safely following policies and routes.
• Load/unload participants and assist in/out of homes and vehicles.
• Transport participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Deliver in-home meals, supplies and medications to participants.
• Assist participants with simple tasks and maintain vehicle safety/cleanliness.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Skills

DOT and Defensive Driving experience

One year of experience with frail/old

Education

High school diploma or GED
