Job summary

Forest Hills Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a driver to transport residents to medical appointments with safety and courtesy at the forefront. You will primarily pick up and deliver to physicians’ offices, hospitals and dialysis, locally.

You will work with severely handicapped and elderly residents, manage a route with on-demand scheduling, and represent the facility in a positive, professional manner while adhering to HIPAA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a State Tested Nursing Assistant certificate.
• Must be a licensed STNA in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to physicians’ offices, hospitals, and dialysis locally.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraints and assist them in and out of the vehicle.
• Maintain hospitable and courteous representation of Forest Hills Center to residents and families.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines for medical records deliveries and confidentiality.
• Communicate disruptions of service to supervision promptly.
• Assist with deliveries/pickups of related items and support other departments as needed.
