Job summary

InnovAge is seeking a Driver – Participant Care to transport frail and elderly participants to Day Centers, appointments, and field trips. You will deliver in-home meals and assist with supplies and medications, while performing pre/post trip inspections.

This role requires working Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays and holidays; California Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement is preferred; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maintain safety and compassion in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous DOT and Defensive Driving experience.
• One year of experience with frail or elderly.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drives InnovAge vehicles safely using defensive driving skills.
• Loads/unloads participants and assists in/out of homes.
• Transports participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Delivers in-home meals, supplies and medications to participants.
• Maintains vehicle safety and coordinates maintenance with management.
