Merakey is hiring Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our program in Redding, CA. If you’ve ever wanted to be a caregiver, this is your chance as we are hiring immediately and offering meaningful work with individuals who need support.

Earn $17.50 per hour, with a $2 per hour night shift differential for overnight work. The position involves personal care, daily living assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship in clients’ homes or community settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Preferred: Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) including personal hygiene, grooming, bathing
• Prior experience in caregiving/home health aide roles encouraged

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, feeding, and companionship
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and range of motion exercises
• Ensure a safe home environment and participate in client activities
