Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals for the Stockton, CA program. DSPs will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and assisting with daily living, communication and social skills across various settings.

The ideal candidate will meet minimum age, education, and license requirements, plus 6 months of direct care experience. Shift is 3rd, Tue-Sat 11pm-7am. Benefits are provided; growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Verifiable High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 6 months experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on behavioral services.
• DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification needed within 12 months of hire.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification needed within 12 months of hire.
• Dual Diagnosis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact and support individuals with developmental disabilities across settings, including homes and community facilities.
• Assist with implementation of behavior plans and daily activities.
• Help with personal care, communication, and social skills development.
